Data sources

Local Trades Ireland is a static catalogue. We do not scrape Google Maps. Listings are built from official registers, the business’s own website, and public contact details.

Business listings

Each profile records a CRO number where we have one, with a link to the Companies Registration Office search. The street address is the CRO registered office. Phone and email are shown only when they appear on the business’s own website. We mark whether a website is present, missing, or only a social page. The collection date on the profile is the date that row was last written into the data file.

Safety registers we point you to

We do not yet store a live RGI or Safe Electric number on every profile. For gas and electrical work you should still check rgi.ie and Safe Electric via CRU before anyone starts.

Guides and grant figures

Grant amounts and legal rules in the guides are taken from SEAI, Citizens Information, CRU, Gas Networks Ireland and the Irish Statute Book. Price bands that are not official statistics are labelled as commercial or contractor-site guides. Regional cost context uses SCSI rebuild rates, which are insurance figures, not trade quotes.

Correction or deletion

Write to hello@localtradesireland.com. We treat a deletion or correction request within 48 hours by changing the data file. The next site rebuild publishes it. We need enough detail to confirm the request comes from the business.
