What SEAI actually pays
For a typical house the heat-pump bundle can reach €12,500: up to €6,500 for the unit, up to €2,000 for radiators / underfloor upgrades, and a €4,000 renewable-heat bonus when you replace oil, gas, solid fuel or inefficient electric heat. Apartments are listed lower (€9,500 cap on the main table). Air-to-air is €7,500. These are grant caps, not Local Trades Ireland price quotes.
If you are replacing a gas boiler
The person who breaks into the gas must be an RGI and must issue a Declaration of Conformance. We do not publish a made-up “average Irish boiler price”. Ask three RGIs for the same boiler model, flue, controls and whether a filter or magnetic cleaner is included.
Dublin, Cork, Galway
The grant does not change by city. Access and diaries do. SCSI rebuild rates sit higher in Dublin than Cork or Galway — treat that as a cost-of-working signal. SCSI.

System type; emitter upgrades; cylinder; controls; electrics (Safe Electric); scaffolding or crane if needed; grant-eligible lines split from extras; who applies to SEAI.
Find heating businesses
Plumbing & heating and heat pumps. Towns: Dublin, Cork, Galway. Then confirm RGI / Safe Electric on the official registers — Local Trades Ireland lists CRO and public contact, not a live competency feed.
